National Space Conference – The National Space Conference aims to advance knowledge and information about space and Earth observation applications, operations, products, and services, as well as how to use them for better decision-making and the advancement of society, economy, and the protection of the environment.

The fourth National Space Conference (NSC) will take place at the CSIR International Convention Centre, Pretoria, South Africa from 17 to 20 August 2027.

The conference will now be held on a biennial basis to strengthen programme quality, and create space focused, community-led events and sector implementation between conferences.

The conference is organised by the National Earth Observations and Space Secretariat (NEOSS) and the South African National Space Agency (SANSA), an initiative and entity of the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (DSTI), in collaboration with key national partners such as the South African Air Force (SAAF).
