The second National Space Conference (NSC) will take place at the CSIR International Convention Centre, Pretoria, South Africa from 28 – 30 August 2024, with the theme “Space Science and Innovation for Sustainability”.
The conference is organised by the National Earth Observations and Space Secretariat (NEOSS) and the South African National Space Agency (SANSA), an initiative and entity of the Department of Science and Innovation (DSI), in collaboration with key national partners such as the South African Air Force (SAAF).
The NSC also gives SA stakeholders (such as researchers, academics, public servants, business, data suppliers, consultants, and NGOs) a forum and opportunity to interact, share ideas and information, and spark discussions about how to work together most effectively to create a sustainable space ecosystem, programs, and initiatives for national growth and development.
